Tourist guide

Located in the east of the département of Var in the PACA region, Fréjus is a certified Ville d'Art et d'Histoire (Town of History and Art). The historic centre of Fréjus and its arenas are not to be missed.

10 minutes away, discover St-Raphaël, the Estérel Massif overlooking the town, Île d'Or, Dramont, the Agay roadstead, the Calanques d'Anthéor...

Visit Cannes and La Croisette, just 30 minutes away!  Shopping along the Rue d'Antibes and on La Croisette, Le Suquet Quarter, Forville Market, and the Vieux Port de Cannes make up the historic soul of this city that's always bursting with life. The Lérins Islands (Ste-Marguerite and St-Honotat) are accessible by shuttle, offering you an untouched natural space in the bay of Cannes.

Go for a wander through Nice, only 1 hour away: its famous "Bay of Angels", the Promenade des Anglais, its carnival, its pebble beaches, and Vieux Nice with its shops and specialities (Socca - a chickpea-flour pancake, Farcis Niçois - stuffed vegetables, or the flower markets of the Cours Saleya).

There's also... the Principality of Monaco, St-Tropez, the Îles d'Or (Porquerolles, the Levant and Port-Cros, accessible by shuttle)...

Culture and heritage

To make the most of your stay on the Côte d’Azur, here’s our selection of beaches close to the campsite:

  • 2 private beaches very close to the campsite
  • 1 beach of international renown, allocated to naturists

To the east of the river Argens, in Fréjus and St-Raphaël, discover the beach of Boulouris, the Agay roadstead beach, and the magnificent Calanques de Porphyre Rouge just below the Esterel Massif and the Corniche d'Or.
If you prefer the “calanque” coves, to the west of the marina of St-Aygulf, direction St-Tropez, calanques and coves alternate with beaches of sand and pebbles. We recommend the following calanques...

  • Louvans
  • Balzac
  • Les Corailleurs
  • Le Pébrier
  • Le Petit Boucharel
  • Le Grand Boucharel

For the little ones... discover Aqualand and Luna Park, both very close to our campsite!
