On the shores of the Adriatic just a few miles from Venice, the bungalows and mobile homes on ourluxury Italian campsites will delight couples visiting this city of love. Hand in hand, our campers will arrive in a vaporetto boat and will cruise along the city’s canals on board one of the famousgondolas. They’ll be amazed by the immenseSaint Mark’s Square and its eponymous Basilica, a symbol of the Byzantine Empire with its numerous mosaics. Not far away, the Doge’s Palace stands opposite the entrance to the Grand Canal. It’s also visible from our campsites on the Adriatic coast. Our most adventurous campers will hit the road and head to the Dolomites, for an invigorating walk in the famous Alpine mountain range, while others will enjoy a well-deserved rest on a beach of golden sand. Couples can also go sightseeing inPadua.
Italian cuisine is loved all around the world, and Venetian specialities only enhance its reputation. After an action-packed day at our 3 to 5-star campsites, our guests can go to a traditional restaurant and taste Bigoli in Salsa, thick spaghetti in a sardine and onion sauce, Venetian gnocchi or the famous pasta fagioli, a plate of pasta served with large beans. Venice is renowned for being a great lover of wine and here our campers can try the famous Prosecco or Fragolino, an especially strong liquor that should be enjoyed in moderation.
True to its Mediterranean origins, Venice welcomes guests on our luxury campsites with an especially warm spring and hot, dry summers.
