Lastly, enjoy a stroll through the charming streets of Alghero, just 6.5 km from the campsite.
Alghero is a charming little fishing port with well-preserved alleyways and ramparts. Take a moment to explore the Santa Maria Cathedral and the museum dedicated to coral, a material that was once pivotal to the local economy.
Nearby lies the remarkable archaeological site the Anghelu Ruju necropolis. And if you’re into geology, the 2-million-year-old Neptune's grotto boasts chambers filled with incredible stalactites, stalagmites and an underground lake. The kilometre-long stroll through the cave is simply enchanting!
