On the shores of the Adriatic, a few kilometers from Venice, the bungalows and mobile homes of our luxury Italian campsites will delight couples visiting this city of lovers. Hand in hand, our campers will arrive by vaporetto and navigate the city's canals aboard one of the famous gondolas. They will be amazed by the imposing Saint Mark's Square and its eponymous basilica, a symbol of the Byzantine Empire with its numerous mosaics. Not far away, the Doge's Palace stands facing the entrance to the Grand Canal. It is also visible from our campsites on the Adriatic coast. Our most adventurous campers will take the Dolomites road for an invigorating walk in the famous Alpine mountain range, while others will enjoy a well-deserved rest on a golden sandy beach. Couples can also sightsee in Padua.
Italian cuisine is appreciated worldwide, and Venetian specialties only enhance its reputation. After a busy day at our 3 to 5-star campsites, our guests can visit a traditional restaurant and enjoy Bigoli in Salsa, thick spaghetti with sardine-onion sauce, Venetian gnocchi, or the famous pasta fagioli, a pasta dish served with large beans. Venice is renowned for its great love of wine, and our campers can taste the famous Prosecco or Fragolino, a particularly strong alcohol to be consumed in moderation.
