It was our first camp experience and was very positive. It felt as the best choice for a family with small kids, when you need own kitchen (stayed in a higher-tier mobilheim) and safe area with amenities such as store, restaurant, access to beach, pool..). All of it was good. Well equipped mobilheim, quiet surroundings.. We moved a lot by car, so one has to be careful about the quite period 1-3pm when the camp is closed and you cannot drive in/out. We went in the second week of September when it was a bit colder already, maybe too cold for the kids in the water, but sandy beach was still fun for them. When it was rainy, there is almost nothing to do in the camp, Caorle, or around, so be equipped for that. There were quite a lot of mosquitos on some days, which made it hard to sit outside the mobilheim. Luckily the mobilheim had AC so we did not need to open the windows so often. We also did not take advantage of the BBQ. Did not feel worth getting the firewood etc if you can use a pan inside or go to the restaurant. Of course, be prepared that the mobilheim has no consumables (TP..). It was nice that we could rent bed sheets and towels.
