Ur-Onéa campsite is just a five-minute walk from central Bidart and its main beach.

Take a stroll around the town's narrow little streets and admire the traditional Basque architecture, with its white facades and houses with colourful shutters. You might be lucky enough to come across a Basque choir or see a game of Basque pelota as you wander around. The Moulin de Bassiflour is the place to go to give your taste buds a treat, while fans of high quality knife making are certain to enjoy a visit to the Coutelier Basque shop. Finish your journey at Chapelle Saint-Madeleine, from where you will be able to enjoy a panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean.

Bidart is not to be outdone when it comes to beaches. Enjoy everything the Atlantic Ocean has to offer at any of the town's six beaches. Unsurprisingly, surfing and other water sports are much in evidence everywhere. The towns long stretches of sand, on the other hand, will perfectly suit those who enjoy leisurely relaxation or sand castle building. 

For family outings in and around Bidart. Biarritz Aquarium, the Petit train de la Rhune railway and Bid'A Parc theme park also offer enjoyable options.
