Corsica: go camping among the charms of the Ile de Beauté!

Corsica and its sandy white coves. Corsica and its villages perched atop rugged mountains. The many delights of the Ile de Beauté make it a prime holiday destination especially prized by campers looking for eclectic landscapes. Our 3 to 5-star Corsican campsites on the Mediterranean coast form the starting point for the many trips and activities that the island has to offer: venture into the heart of the Scandola Nature Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, or spend a while walking in the Calanques de Piana.

Bonifacio, nicknamed The Town on the Cliffs, will delight campers who have not seen the similarly beautiful landscapes of mainland France. Hikers are in for an adventure at the Gorges de la Restonica, located an hour’s drive away from one of our campsites. Cyclists can enjoy a ride through the astonishing valleys of the Inzecca and the Strette. Not to mention Bastia and its old harbour, the Lavazzi archipelago, where you can take a boat trip, and Palombaggia, the most beautiful beach on the island. Corsica truly is an isle of many charms. You’ll be enthralled by all the different activities on offer, with something for active campers as well as those who prefer a more relaxed pace of life.

And that’s not all: wait till you try the local Corsican cuisine! Guests in the mobile homes and bungalows on our campsites will love figatelli, a sausage that can be eaten raw or grilled on the barbecue. Hungry campers can also savour brocciu cheese doughballs, one of the specialities of the region, canistrelli, perfect for recharging your batteries after a hike, or Fiadone.

What’s more, campers who choose Corsica are guaranteed a radiant summer, so you can admire the island in all its beauty!
