Campsite holiday in Ardèche with Homair

Are you dreaming of discovering a new culture during your family or friends' holiday? Book your stay at one of our campsites in Croatia and enjoy the many services offered. Our establishments in Istria have everything to charm you: entertainment for everyone, practical services, and qualified staff. Although it is now a Croatian peninsula, Istria has not forgotten its Italian past. Our campsites are at the crossroads of two cultures rich in history. To fully enjoy this Mediterranean gem, we have installed our mobile homes and bungalows on its shores. Our campers thus benefit from privileged access to all the wonders it holds. While Croatia attracts many fans of the cult series Game of Thrones who come to discover the various filming locations, it also boasts magnificent landscapes. Paradisiacal islands, magnificent coastlines, and villages steeped in history await you during your stay in Istria. Not far from Pula is the Brijuni National Park, an archipelago of 14 islands and a nature reserve home to more than 77 plant species. The Cathedral of St. Euphemia in Rovinj, about thirty kilometers from our campsite in Poreč, is also worth discovering. Not to mention the perched villages of Motovun and Grožnjan, and the Temple of Augustus.

Istria is full of activities to do, right from our campsites: open sea kayaking, mountain biking excursions, or climbing for our most athletic campers, or simply relaxing on one of the many fine sandy beaches. Istria is a paradisiacal holiday destination that will delight couples, friends, and families. And to regain your strength after a busy day, hungry campers will enjoy fritule, small fig-flavored doughnuts, and kroštule, pastries made from fried dough. Istria enjoys particularly hot summers, allowing our campers to savor the beauty of the peninsula.

The Ardèche offers a wide variety of picturesque and rugged landscapes, perfect for camping and for history or sport enthusiasts. Moreover, the bungalows and mobile homes in our luxury campsites are located a few kilometers from the splendid Gorges de l'Ardèche, the region's jewel. Stretching for about thirty kilometers between the Pont d'Arc and Saint-Martin-d'Ardèche, they offer an excellent hiking trail. Water sports enthusiasts can venture there by canoe, kayak, or simple boat. South of the Gorges, the Saint-Marcel-d'Ardèche cave will transport you into an enchanting world with its monumental vaults and stone waterfalls, unique in Europe.

Our 3 to 5-star campsites are also ideally located for visiting the Ray Pic Waterfall, 60 meters long, which has carved its way between lava flows. Campers, staying in our luxury bungalows and mobile homes, can also discover, in total comfort, the many other treasures of the Ardèche: the Caverne du Pont d'Arc, the Grand Site d'Orgnac, character villages, the Combe d'Arc, or the Néovinum, a 1,500 m² wine area.

And what better way to recover from your visits than to taste chestnuts, unique cheeses, various honeys, blueberries, olives, or Ardèche oils? A true feast!

Our campsites in Ardèche allow you to enjoy the local Mediterranean climate, with hot and dry summers.

Visit Ardèche's Picturesque Villages Homair
Balazuc, Rochecombe, Laubeaume...

Visit Ardèche's Picturesque Villages

Numerous picturesque villages invite you on heritage excursions near your campsite in Ardèche. Balazuc, built like a belvedere atop a cliff overlooking the Ardèche, is among France's most beautiful villages. A stroll through its streets plunges you into the heart of the Middle Ages: as you wander, you can admire trilobed windows, broken arch doorways, vaulted passages, and cobblestone streets.

Labeaume unfolds its golden stone houses along the banks of the eponymous river. From the hanging gardens, arranged on terraces built during the 18th century to gain arable land, a panoramic view opens up to you. Paths promise you a journey back to a millennia-old past, discovering dolmens erected by the peoples who once lived here.

Another favorite, the village of Rochecombe, nestles against a rocky peak in a postcard-perfect setting. Its steep, narrow streets lead you to the old castle, from which a panoramic view opens onto the surroundings.

Explore Geological Treasures Homair
Chauvet Cave, Pont d’Arc, Aven d’Orgnac

Explore Geological Treasures

Ardèche offers countless remarkable caves and arches for you to discover with your family near your campsite.

The 54-meter high mineral arch of Pont d'Arc has been patiently carved by the elements and has spanned the river for over a hundred thousand years. Spectacular, it symbolizes your entry into the Ardèche Gorges and will undoubtedly feature in your holiday photos.

The Ardèche territory has been inhabited since antiquity. In a cave located in the Vallon Pont d'Arc area, our distant ancestors left a thousand engravings and paintings for posterity. A faithful reproduction of the Chauvet Cave has been built to allow the general public to safely admire these moving testimonies of humanity.

You can also delve into the depths of the Earth. The Aven d'Orgnac can be discovered during a memorable guided tour. Young and old alike will admire numerous geological formations, monumental stalactites and stalagmites, colossal pillars, and exceptionally delicate rock lacework.

South of the gorges, the Saint-Marcel-d'Ardèche cave will transport you into an almost magical universe with its immense chambers and its gours waterfall, unique in Europe.

Wine enthusiasts won't want to miss Néovinum, a space of over 1,500 m² dedicated to oenology.

The Monts d'Ardèche are watered by numerous rivers, which brighten the landscapes and invite you to explore. At the Ray Pic waterfalls, 60 meters long, the Bourges river gushes amidst the ancient lava flows of an extinct volcano. Through sheer tenacity, the waterfall has managed to carve its way between the volcanic flows.
