Picardy: a stay that suits you

Your camping holiday in Picardy

Our campers will also enjoy visiting the Château de Pierrefonds, an architectural phoenix which rose from the ashes after being demolished in the 12th century. Then there’s Compiègne, the ultimate royal town, where Joan of Arc was captured and many an imperial wedding was held. Visitors can also go in search of the Vase of Soissons, just a few kilometres from our luxury campsites.

In Ermenonville, our campers who are keen walkers can go exploring the immense park or enjoy a romantic walk through the magnificent forest, hand in hand with their loved one.

As for campers who are here for the food, they can try the saltmarsh lamb and a whole array of local cheeses: rollot, tome au foin or the famous maroilles, as well as savouring Amiens macaroons, croustillons, Saint Quentin fritters and picantins from Compiègne.

Last but not least, campers who take their holiday in Picardie can enjoy a hot, if somewhat unpredictable, summer.
