Lake Garda (or Lago di Benaco), in Italian, is the largest lake in the country. It is located 7 km from the campsite. Several typical villages line its banks. The campsite is ideally located for visiting Verona, Brescia, Modene or Mantova. Milan and Venice may also be visited (full-day trip). By bike, discover the Altomincio nature reserve stretching all the way to Mantova and offering over 65 km of cycle paths.

The town of Desenzano del Garda (Romanesque Villa, the amphitheatre), the village of Sirmione (archaeological zone of the Grotto of Catullus, Scaliger Castle), the Vittoriale degli Italiana (once home of the poet Annunzio) at Gardone Riviera, the Castle of Moniga del Garda, a visit to Verona (considered a Unesco World Heritage site)...
