Many other destinations in Vendée are well worth a visit, such as the island of Noirmoutier, also known as the Island of Mimosas, the island of Yeu, and the Puy du Fou theme park. Slightly further afield, the town of Les Sables-d'Olonne, the remarkable Marais Poitevin natural park, and Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie will give you an insight into this region with such varied landscape.
