Outdoor enthusiasts will love spending their holidays at Le Mas de Sireuil campsite. There is so much choice for outings on foot, on a bicycle and even in a canoe to explore the beauty of the Dordogne landscapes. If you like fishing and swimming, the Tamniès lake is only a ten-minute drive away.
Just a few kilometres from your tent or mobile home, you’ll also be able to admire the caves and the geological wonders they harbour. The most famous, the Lascaux caves, are just twenty or so kilometres away.
You can also journey back in time thanks to the region’s many castles, which sit perched up on rocks or overlooking the rivers of the Dordogne and Vézère. It’s no coincidence that the Périgord is known as the “department of a 1,001 châteaux”! The nearest, The Château de Commarque, just 3 kilometres from the campsite, is within walking distance.
