Reach Boisvinet beach, a few kilometres away, and stroll around the marina, in its local markets and lively terraces... You will also have the opportunity to admire its historical heritage, notably by visiting the Royal Abbey of Lieu-Dieu.
A magnificent cycle path passes right in front of the campsite, inviting you to long rides along the Côte de Lumière. Whether you fancy the beach, walks, or cultural discoveries, everything is within easy reach from your mobile home at Camping L'Océano d'Or.
The Vendée is a land of contrasts. The surrounding forest and marshes are a playground for families. For an adventure full of charm, explore the Salt Route and the village of Sallertaine. It is a timeless place, poised between sky and marsh. From the morning, embark on a canoe trip through the ancient saltwater channels. After this rural interlude, treat yourself to a gourmet break in a typical restaurant like Le Marais Gourmand, before discovering the Artisans' Island, where the talents of glassblowers and ceramicists are revealed.
For a tasteful pleasure, take the road towards the Vendée hillsides: after a 40-minute drive, you will reach Brem-sur-Mer, the starting point of a wine tourism adventure. You can hire bikes there to follow the Wine Route and enjoy a tasting at the Domaine l’Orée du Sabia. At lunchtime, change scenery and savour fresh oysters and local products at La Cabane, a former oyster farmer's hut converted into an oyster bar in Brem-sur-Mer.
A few kilometres away, you can access magnificent beaches such as the Plage de la Mine in Jard-sur-Mer with its cliffs, or the immense beaches of Longeville-sur-Mer, a renowned surfing spot. Further on, the Plage des Tonnelles in Saint-Jean-de-Monts offers a large, wild, and peaceful space. Don't miss the Château de Talmont-Saint-Hilaire (15 mins) and its medieval shows, or the Château des Aventuriers in Avrillé (20 mins). For a maritime discovery, head to Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie (about 35 minutes) to explore the Atelier de la Sardine and stroll around the Old Port. Finally, treat yourself to a day of sliding at O'Gliss Park (25 mins), adventure at Indian Forest (25 mins), or a visit to the Zoo des Sables d'Olonne (25 mins) where you can observe many animals. For your daily needs, a grocery shop is open every day and offers a fresh bread and pastry delivery service for delicious breakfasts. On the practical side, the campsite is equipped with a laundry, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the site (paid service).

Where can I park my car on the campsite?
Only one vehicle is allowed on the campsite. Any additional cars must be parked in the car park.
Some pitches allow you to park your vehicle. If this is not the case, a car park will be available near your accommodation.
Do I have to pay a tourist tax during my holiday at the campsite?
Tourist tax is charged at almost all tourist sites. You will therefore need to pay it when you book online or once you arrive at the site.
What are the arrival and departure times?
Check-in is available between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Check-out is between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. On arrival, please go directly to the Homair Vacances - Eurocamp reception (our group's brands).
Do I need to pay a security deposit for my stay at the campsite?
Yes, a security deposit will be required upon your online check-in or once you arrive on-site.
