The 7 km of fine golden sand that border the resort offer freedom and space, so that everyone can enjoy the sun as they please. Not forgetting the ‘Racou’ (corner in Catalan), a little corner of paradise at the edge of the beach and at the foot of the Albères. The village, with its Catalan accent, its church with a crenellated tower (14th century), its maze of narrow streets, its ramparts, its markets, its crafts, its festivals... A town mentioned as early as the 9th century, a stronghold linked to the kings of Aragon and Majorca in the 13th and 14th centuries, a village that became French in 1659.
