Camp in the heart of the Italian Renaissance!

Boasting the oldest university in the Western world, Emilia Romagna proudly displays its richhistoric heritage. A beguiling history that won’t fail to attract campers from all corners of the globe. The mobile homes and bungalows on our Italian campsites, ideally situated on the Adriatic coast, are the ideal setting for a voyage of discovery around the wonders of this Northern Italian region. This includes thePo Delta National Park, just a few miles away from one of our campsites, which covers an area of 52,000 hectares and is home to a great many historic monuments. There’s also Parma Cathedral, and the fresco on its dome painted by Correggio, Modena Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and theTowers of Bologna. There are so many wonders from the Italian Renaissance, just a stone’s throw away from our campsites, to delight our history-loving guests.

Those who choose to spend their holiday in our luxury campsite at Emilia-Romagna should not miss the famous lasagna and pasta bolognese, which gets its name from the city of Bologna. This culinary speciality has since become popular far beyond Bologna, but it is always interesting to rediscover it in a local restaurant. The most adventurous campers should taste lentil Zampone, a stuffed pork trotter originally from Modena, and, of course, authentic Parma ham.

As for the weather, our campsites enjoy the temperate climes of theAdriatic, offering campers milder and less humid summers than in the Romagna hinterland.
